SyncWork

Data and account deletion

Updated:

This page explains how to delete a SyncWork account and the data associated with it. You can delete the account yourself in the web application, and a request can be made without installing the app.

If you are an employee

Sign in to the SyncWork web application with the same login you use in the mobile app and open Settings → Account deletion → Delete my account. You will be asked for your password. The action is irreversible: you will not be able to sign in afterwards.

If you cannot sign in — for example your company has already revoked your access — ask your company administrator to delete your account from the user list: that erases the same personal data. Note that “Deactivate” only blocks sign-in and deletes nothing. If that is not possible either, write to us.

If you are the company owner

The owner deletes the company as a whole: Settings → Account deletion → Delete company, confirmed with the password. Personal data is erased from every account in the company — names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords and signatures — after which nobody can sign in and the company account is deactivated. The owner cannot delete only their own account.

Records of completed work, clients and equipment are kept as the company’s business records, but without the data that would identify an individual employee. If you need those removed as well, write to us and we will action the request within the period stated below.

The action is irreversible. We recommend exporting any documents you need beforehand.

Request by email

Send an email to tymofiisyncwork2026@outlook.com with the subject “Data deletion”, stating the account’s email address. We verify the requester’s identity and complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Erased permanently:

  • first and last name, email address, phone number;
  • password and every active session;
  • your signature sample;
  • device identifiers used for push notifications, and any Telegram link;
  • the change history of your profile in the audit log.

Kept in the company’s account — but no longer carrying your name:

  • the service tasks you worked on, with their history and comments;
  • clients, equipment, materials and documents entered by the company;
  • photos of completed work.

These are the company’s business records and it remains their controller. We deliberately avoid calling this anonymisation in the strict sense: given enough context the company could still work out who performed a particular job. What is gone is the data that identifies you directly.

Temporarily retained:

  • crash reports not linked to an individual — up to 90 days;
  • accounting and tax records — for the periods required by law;
  • database backups — until routinely overwritten, no longer than 30 days.

Isolated mentions of your name may survive in free text written by other people — task descriptions, notes, messages. We cannot find those automatically; write to us and we will remove them separately.
